History of fancy sailors, and Trinidad carnival.
The Fancy Sailor was an off-shoot of the King Sailor. The fancy sailor costume consists of papier-mâché headpieces, decorated and painted to look like birds, animals or plants. The sailor outfit is decorated with ribbons, medals, braiding, swans down and other embellishments to match the headpieces.

Join us as we embrace the nostalgia of Sailor Mas, influenced by the rhythmic beat of Salsa music. This blend of tradition teamed with contemporary styling gives way to a new approach to traditional Mas.
Our sailors have just docked in Cuba and are seeing what the beautiful city of Havana has to offer. They are dressed in vibrant hues of red, fuchsia, plum, gold, purple and iridescent highlights.
